I was considering how much MGS and Megaten have become the two series that I associate with crippling pain.
Metal Gear Solid V is like the only upcoming game that inflicts as much pain as it does excitement with every reveal we get. We already know how this turns out, we already know who Big Boss becomes, and now we have to live the actual events.
At least with Megaten I can blissfully pretend like it’s not going to destroy me until I actually am neck deep in it.
We as a society really need to stop romanticizing the idea of “needing” romantic partners and “not being able to live without them” because it is incredibly unhealthy and leads people to wind up in unhealthy situations of dependency or feeling dependent and not thinking to change that mindset because it seems romantic
