Dress suitably in short skirts and strong boots, leave your jewels in the bank, and buy a revolver.

Dandy as Dandy can do!

inkwellillustration:

I made this outfit (coat and vest) mostly from lace and tweed/wool scrapes from different coats and fabrics I picked up at goodwill and other thrift  shops. The mask was made from plaster gauze and sculpey, I didn’t make the pants, they’re from rugby.com

I decide to make this not only for the labyrinth themed masquerade at my school but a Emilie Autumn concert I attended.

labyrinth themed masquerade at my school

Dear Lord, why didn’t I go to your school?

I thought someone on my flist might enjoy the one on the right…?

This outfit on the right is a great Kimono Hime—vintage, short kimono worn with boots, big red hair, furoshiki wrapped around the bento box, and a bright red haori raincoat (raincoats lap over the entire front of the kimono, hiding the collar and obi). I wish we could see more of this outfit, but from what I can tell, they’ve matched vintage warm colors— red-orange, yellow, olive and cream— with neutral red, and green gloves for contrast.
Looks cozy!
